Prep-Work: Section, House Design & Building Consent Process
February - April 2010 — We found a nice section on outskirts of Christchurch. We got a loan sorted from our bank and we bought the section. We can start work on real plans not just playing around with ideas.
My wife and I made the final iteration of the house design in March 2010. The house will consist of three 40ft and one 20ft container. The design creates 10x7m of open living space between the containers. The whole structure will be covered by sinle-pitch roof.
